Note: Of course I cannot be sure if it was the NSA that attacked me. It can be another organization as well.
New Snowden leaks tell us that the NSA infiltrates online game portals like Xbox Live console network, which has more than 48 million players, and World of Warcraft. For me this was no news, I knew this already in 2000.
When the 24/7 attacks started on me in May 2000, I was often at my brother’s place. He and his wife offered me a place to stay in what was certainly the most difficult period in my life. Although the attacks continued 24/7, being there gave me that little bit of extra time needed to think what was happening and how to respond to it.
When being there I often played The Sims, late at night to try to relax a bit. The Sims game was released the beginning of 2000 and instantly became very popular. Although coming from Doom and Duke Nukem I really like the game.
When I drove my car in the evening on the highway from my place to my brother’s, I was always surrounded by cars with defective head lights and/or rear lights. One of their lights was not working, or one of the head lights was blinding me through the driving mirror. They just kept driving behind me or in front of me.
On an evening when playing The Sims, it was already late and may be the fourth or fifth time I played The Sims, there was this Sims character coming to me and saying something like: What do you think of all those bright lights on the highway today. I was really shocked. I knew it could not be too difficult to hack into my game, because the game also connected to the internet, but that there were people actually doing such things to attack you … There were two more incidents where a Sims person talked very detailed about things that were happening on my life.
I was scared because only a big organization would be capable of doing this and what were their plans with me? I quit playing The Sims then because I did not want to be confronted with these attacks anymore.
Of course I did not tell anyone at that time. But now with the Snowden leaks about these online game intrusions, I thought to share this story with you. Remember, this was in 2000!
Another related story is me working for a startup company in 1996-1997. While the company was financed by Dutch people, there was also an American recruited. He was, like me, one of the directors. One day I talked to him and we were joking about the CIA, there was something in the news.
Then he told me the following. He said, ‘I have a friend who is working for the NSA and I asked how I could reach him, what his phone number was. And my friend said, well you just pick up a telephone, any phone, shout my name and I will talk to you’. He was laughing loud when he told me.
I remember this very well because this was not the CIA he was talking about but the NSA. The NSA was not very well know that days.
To summmarize, already in 2000 probably the NSA was not only participating into these games to look for terrorists (are there any terrorists anyway, or just people who’s families have been murdered by USA/NATO warfare), but also using these games to attack innocent people. And probably they also do all kinds of experiments on online gamers. It looked like the NSA was also involved in 1997 setting up spy companies world-wide.
As a final word I want to add that agencies like the NSA are not about spying but are about elimination, blackmail, stealing and experimentation, i.e. control.

To all politicians of the world
The only way to save the world is to stop your national secret services. Breaking laws and violating human rights in horrible ways has become a way of life. They are responsible for most problems in your neighborhood, in your city, in your country, in the world. Make them responsible for what they are doing. Let them account for in detail, force them to open up their organizations for thorough investigations. Stop their funding if they do not co-operate. Replace directors and staff immediately by normal people for starters.
