My new mobile phone is a Sony Ericsson w810i, an amazing piece of technology. My contract with T-Mobile includes (always on) Pocket Internet and I have an Xs4all email account. Update: Well almost midnight and I walked outside to check if I could see anyone throwing some heavy piece of firework close to my window. Then my nextdoor neighbour (it is forbidden to look through his windows, he threatened me earlier 2006 already once) came outside his house with some kind of metal stick in his hand along with some friend (no words, just violent) of him ordering me to go into my house, and when that did not sort effect the friend used a lot of force to push me into my doorway. The result: the police visiting my neighbours at 2007 00:00. Happy new year! 🙂

Today we did the thing you do this time of year, get a christmas tree up and running. Once all decorations were in place we played some nice xmas songs, Sleigh Ride by Amy Grant, Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer by Dean Martin, All I Want For Christmas Is You by Mariah Carey, to name a few.

Microwave technology has grown very mature and unfortunately so have weapons based on this technology. Think of what happens when you put something into a microwave oven. Today I was in Bergen op Zoom to buy some presents and got really scared as i ran into Sinterklaas, Local Action Hero, with a lot of zwarte pieten. Children were singing Sinterklaaas songs and everybody was smiling. This is my country!

Don’t know about you but I am SICK of current politicians. They are all the same (well most) and offer no improvement to our way of living. I believe in:

Yesterday morning after seeing no weight loss for another day I did running till I dropped. But I really cannot complain.

Last year heard a couple of songs but recently got all songs from his latest release. If you love music, you can love these songs.

I want to loose weight, so yesterday started with Modifast Intensive. Believe me you don’t want to do this. For each meal you have one bag, just put in big cup with water and shake or stir. The result: you have succesfully prepared your breakfast, lunch or diner! Oh, and you can drink water the whole day if you want. But nothing else, no fries, no burgers, no chips and no wine. Help me!

My PC with DVD recorder came with Nero burning software. But every time you click you get messages telling you to upgrade, time to look for free burning software. Used CDBurnerXP Pro3 for a number of months but suddenly it did not want to burn anymore. Searching I stumbled upon HT Fireman CDDVD Burner. Tried this and first impression is very good (do not forget to click the DVD disc button on the first screen!).

Barcodes are great when selling certain stuff online. You have to settle with the shop or zoo about the codes that are issued but once that is out of the way, you let your customers order online and upon receiving their payment show them a page with information and a barcode.They must print this page, go to shop or zoo, have the barcode scanned and get what they came for. Two websites had problems because of their cookies being blocked by Internet Explorer (IE). This was caused by the fact that these sites were running inside a frame on another domain. It appeared that IE6 adhears to P3P, a far too strict privacy policy for websites. I had to tell the applications to start with sending a special ‘hey, let me through’ P3P code (see title) in the header of every page, telling IE that we will not use visitor data in any way. Cookies are no longer being blocked and everything is back to normal. This P3P problem does not occur with Firefox.

For a number of years I have been running a seperate physical SME server but some time ago I read an article about adding a VMWare virtual machine with IPCop firewall to your XP system. Tried this and it worked, amazing! After running this setup for the past three months, I added another virtual machine and installed Debian linux with Apache webserver into it (ping does not work from ORANGE, so use e.g. wget for testing; to install the webserver, type: aptitude install apache). You can add a DMZ pinhole to access the webserver from your XP. Ok, last step, the ADSL modem. You must add a port forwarding rule to this modem: from port-80 to your-inside-ip:port-80. Then browse your IP (http://www.ipaddress.com) from some location e.g. http://www.idzap.com.

For me, it connects! To get closer to me: http://86.86.155.69. This is the PC in front of me, close enough?

Was it a setup? It certainly was not stopped by intelligence services (may I suggest we change this name into a name more reflecting their activities). A lot of other questions remain but for starters I would like to have the following questions answered:

• WTC building 7: was it a collapse caused by fire or was it pulled (and was possible evidence present in this building destroyed)
• There are stock exchange transactions (e.g. put options on Unitied Airlines) suggesting western intelligence exactly knew when the attack was going to happen. Investigate!

With over hundred thousand people killed by wars in Afghanistan and Irak, and without serious answers I can only believe this was a CIA constructed/manipulated/let go event.

Being the owner a Sharp TM100 and a Nokia 3220, I am looking for a new mobile phone. I wanted to develop some software for mobile phones so I bought the Nokia when it was quite popular. That was about one year ago. Now even my own daughter, thirteen years of age and also looking for a new phone, does not want my Nokia, not even when it’s free!Anyway, my brother is using a Qtek9100, nice phone but a bit slow and missing some state-of-the-art features. It’s successor HTC TyTN seems to have too much problems so let’s wait for the HTC P3600

Discovered a new site http://www.buienradar.nl/ very usefull for running. The site was created by someone who wanted to know exactly if it was going to rain when he was about to fire the BBQ. Unfortunately the best forecast you get is ‘partly showers’, not good enough. This site gives you a detailed view about rain, and a prediction for about an hour. Yesterday I checked and decided it was ok to go running but I had to return before 20:00 or rain could come along. Well, just before I got home rain came down like hell, just as predicted. Good site!    

Another habit that must be stopped. Since I was young I drank milk as if it was the most essential component of staying alive. Now they found out that drinking milk gives you a 2.3 increase in getting Parkinson. 7000 mainly man were followed for 30 years. 128 developed Parkinson.
